Stress Relief during instruction time is key to some staying focused. Even at home, things can get stressful. Here is a quick DIY craft your child can help make. If you're having a hard time focusing and you need something to help. I encourage you to make this with your child.
MATERIALS:
6 Large, high-quality balloons (Strong enough to sustain constant play)
1 cup uncooked rice
Funnel
Essential Oil (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Place the rice in a bowl and add 3 drops of essential oil. Mix together to coat the rice.
Place one balloon inside the other. Repeat making three stress balloons total.
Place the funnel in the opening of balloons.
Slowly spoon the rice into the funnel and shake it into the balloon.
Keep filling until you get to the base of the balloon’s stem or until you get to a comfortable size to hold in the palm of your hand.
Remove the funnel and tie off.
Squeeze gently when you feel the need to fidget.
