What is Prime Reading?

If your library card gets more of a workout than your ATM card, and book-club night is your favorite night of the month, you'll probably love Amazon's Prime Reading benefit. But you may not know all of what's included and how to take advantage of this benefit, which is automatically included in your Amazon Prime membership.

Here are some frequently asked questions to help understand what Prime Reading is all about.

What exactly is Prime Reading? Think of it as a private library that lets Prime members read free. Prime Reading includes a selection of more than 2,500 books and magazines and is one of the Prime benefits you can share in your household.

How do I get started? Make sure you are logged in to your Amazon account and your Prime membership is current. Then go to www.amazon.com/primereading to start browsing the titles currently available in Prime Reading. When you find a book, comic, or magazine that looks tempting, simply click "Read for Free," and the item will be available for download. Or click "Read and Listen for Free" for the titles that have Audible companions.

How can I access Prime Reading? You can use a Kindle E-reader or Fire tablet, or download the Kindle app for use on your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.

What kind of choices are available? Options abound. The frequently updated selection includes recent and popular fiction and nonfiction titles, literary classics, children's books, comic books, magazines and Kindle Singles.

What if I download a book and change my mind — or if I finish a book and want to select a new one? No problem. You can continue choosing new books and magazines until you have downloaded 10 titles. If you want more titles, you will be prompted to return one title to download a new choice.

What about when I need a hands-free reading? Dozens of Prime Reading books are available with Audible narration — so you can listen while you are busy cooking, gardening, or commuting. With Whispersync technology, you can pick up right where you left off, switching seamlessly between reading and listening.

What is First Reads? This is another Prime benefit that gives members a sneak peek at certain books before they are released to the general public. First Reads allows Prime members to download one free book each month from a selection of six editors' picks. New titles are announced at the start of each month and publicized in the weekly Prime newsletter.

What is Kindle Unlimited? If Prime Reading whets your appetite, sign up for a free 30-day trial of Kindle Unlimited, Amazon's premium reading program. For $9.99 a month, your reading choices will expand to more than 1 million titles, including thousands of audiobooks and current magazines.

This first volume, covering the first two and a quarter years of the strip, will be of particular fascination to Peanuts aficionados worldwide: Although there have been literally hundreds of Peanuts books published, many of the strips from the series' first two or three years have never been collected before―in large part because they showed a young Schulz working out the kinks in his new strip and include some characterizations and designs that are quite different from the cast we're all familiar with. (Among other things, three major cast members―Schroeder, Lucy, and Linus―initially show up as infants and only "grow" into their final "mature" selves as the months go by. Even Snoopy debuts as a puppy!) Thus The Complete Peanuts offers a unique chance to see a master of the art form refine his skills and solidify his universe, day by day, week by week, month by month.

How I Make Extra Money For My Family

Become an Avon Representative

It's not easy running a household on one income. In November 2003 I signed up to become an Avon Representative. I had just found out I was pregnant with Isabelle and my mother said I needed to get a job. Selling Avon was a great idea at the time. I was able to sign up and get the website up and running that day.
It's  now 2017 and I'm still here. I do not make a lot of money. In fact, most of my sales come from advertising products online through Pinterest. www.pinterest.com/raineader

Avon sells itself. If your customers like certain products and they'll stock up once or twice a year. I have a few customers who swear by the SSS product line. I have a few who are absolutely sold on the Anew and mark. products. No two customers are the same.

You can join my team. Sign up and start, it's really that easy. As long as you order one product every three campaigns you'll be in good. Even if it's one $.69 lip balm.

Check out the link above. Once you sign up you'll have access to the Avon University, lots of gold in those pages. Learn how to Build Your Sales, Train and Build Your Team, and Manage Your Business all online at your own pace.

How to Make an Anemometer
Materials Needed:
· five 3 oz. plastic cups
· two plastic soda straws
· one pencil (with unused eraser)
· single-hole paper punch
· scissors
· tape
· one push-pin
· permanent magic marker
Step 1
Take four of the plastic cups and punch one hole in each, about ½ inch (1.5 cm) below
the rim.
Step 2
Take the fifth cup and punch two holes in it, directly opposite from each other, about ½
inch (1.5 cm) below the rim. Now punch two more holes in the cup, each ¼ inch (1 cm)
below the rim that are equally-spaced between the first two holes.
Step 3
Using the push-pin and the scissors, make a hole in the center of the bottom of the cup
with four holes in it. The hole should be large enough that the pencil can fit easily
through it.
Step 4
Slide one of the straws through the hole in one of the cups that has only one hole in it.
Bend the end of the straw that is inside the cup about ½ inches (1.5 cm) and tape it to
the inside of the cup.
Step 5
Place the other end of the straw through two of the holes in the fifth cup and then trough
the hole in one of the other cups. Tape the end of the straw to the inside of the cup as
you did earlier, making sure that the openings of the two cups face opposite directions.
Step 6
Repeat steps 4 and 5 with the remaining two cups, sliding the straw through the
remaining two holes in the fifth cup. Make sure that the opening of each cup faces the
bottom of the cup next to it (in other words, no two openings should be facing each
other). Each of the four cups should be facing sideways.
Step 7
Insert the pencil with the eraser facing up through the bottom of the fifth cup. Carefully
push the pin through the two straws and into the eraser on the pencil.
Step 8
Take the permanent magic marker and draw a large X on the bottom of one of the cups.
Your anemometer is now ready to use! Take it outside and hold it in front of you in an
open area where the wind is blowing.
Look at the X on the bottom of the cup as it spins around. Count the number of times it
spins around (revolutions) in 10 seconds. Use the table below to estimate the wind
speed.
