We don't take tests and quizzes like a traditional brick and mortar school. There is no cramming the night before on the past 6 chapters and anxiety causing you to feel nauseas. I'll just write the page or questions/problems in the notebook and the kids take them without realizing.
I'm going to use this approach to Show what you know on Friday. I'll be the student and they'll be my teacher. I think it'll be interesting to see them mimic me and show what leadership skills they have thus far.
I wish, I would have thought of this around Christmas time. I think they would be encouraged to explain their day to day homeschool life with family members who are still confused about what we do all day.
