Our first family dog Kelsie was a shelter dog. She was returned to the ASPCA 3 times before finding her forever home with us.
She was the greatest dog ever. She loved every kid like she was their mother, very protective. When I first met Chris, she was very protective of him. She would jump on any and everyone, very wild and energetic. Even into her old age, she would still bark at any and everyone who walked by our house.
She lived to be 15 years old. Our hearts are broken and our house is a lot emptier now that she's gone.
