Lymes Disease Challenge

A few years ago, a family member was suffering from severe joint pain, amongst other issues. At the age of 30, she told us she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. She had been going around for a few years with this chronic pain and headaches. Nothing seemed to be helping ease any of the pain. In fact, our Grandmother was worried she might have MS.
Coincidentally, I just happened to watch a show called Intervention. There was a lady with chronic pain, claiming it was rheumatoid arthritis. Her family members said she has Lymes Disease.
When my family member told me about the joint pain and how she went through several tests, I told her to get tested for Lymes Disease. Sure enough, it was Lymes Disease. She said living in Maryland there's a good chance a lot of people have this.

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection primarily transmitted by Ixodes ticks, also known as deer ticks, and on the West Coast, black-legged ticks.

The kids made a Lymes Disease Challenge video last year. We challenge others to make one as well, you never know who you'll reach that could be suffering and not realize it could be Lymes.
